The DF emergency downlight is a compact emergency down lighter featuring a single high output white LED. The DF-QBD is recess mounted, allowing for a discreet fitting and stylish design.
Its non-maintained operation means that the lamp only operates in the event of a mains power failure. At this point the back-up battery powers the 3 Watt LED light source for more than 3 hours.

Maintained Operation
When in maintained operation the lamp of an emergency luminaire stays on constantly at all times and stays lit for the minimum emergency duration after a mains failure.
Non-Maintained Operation
When in non-maintained operation the lamp of an emergency luminaire will only light in the event of a mains failure and will stay lit for the minimum emergency duration required.
Please Note: Maintained units are capable of being wired to enable non-maintained operation.
