Ozone Aging Chamber
Introduction:
Due to its oxidising effect, the ozone, even in typical environment concentrations, may lead to the premature ageing of and damage to materials and components. Plastics and polymers are particularly at risk.For this purpose, the product is subjected to an ozone concentration of 25 to 200 pphm at +40 °C and 55 % relative humidity. The test cabinet is suitable to perform both static and dynamic (in combination with expansion) endurance tests.
Reliable measurements are ensured by:Continuous testing and correction of gas amounts by way of the ozone measuring and control system.
Ozone Aging Test Chamber Can be used to test rubber products with static tensile deformation, such as vulcanized rubber, thermoplastic rubber, cable insulating bush; expose the test specimens to the sealed air in the test chamber without light and with constant ozone concentration and constant temperature according to predetermined time, and then observe the cracks on test specimens’ surface and the degree of change of other properties to evaluate the rubber’s ozone aging resistance properties.
