You can select a color, or let it change colors on its own with the "Auto" setting. With the "Music" setting it will flash and change colors in response to the sound of the music, using its built-in microphone. In "Flash" mode it will flash like a strobe light.
The light comes with a mini-tripod so you can set it on the floor or a table, or you can use its bracket to mount it on a wall or ceiling. With the full-function remote control, you can change the color, the mode, and the speed of the ripple effect. A compact little unit at less than 6" x 4" x 2", this device throws out a lot of light, covering a wide area when the projector is set up four or five yards away.
