Unlike other products, this Solar light is powered by a Li-ion rechargeable battery (with no memory effect) in a weatherproof housing, the fitting can be easily installed in any location without the need for mains power to be present. The battery is charged by the solar panel supplied with the unit. The solar panel comes with 3 meter of cable & waterproof connector allowing it to be remotely mounted and angled to catch the best sun. The Solar Floodlight has a built in motion detector which senses movement within a 12 meter range and turns the light on.
