1. Introduction
Digital Leaf Area Meter is developed based on the photoelectric theory. It has advantages of convenience, fast measuring speed, easy maintenance, simple operation and high accuracy.

2.1 It can measure the leaf surface area of any irregular shape, any color, any thickness and the moisture content.
2.2 Fast measuring speed. After preheating the machine, time of measuring each leaf surface area is less than 1 second.
2.3 It can save the leaf area measurement data and upload the datum to computers.
2.4 It has strong expandability. With wireless communication hardware interface, GPS positioning interface and so on. The hardware function can be expanded according to user demand. It can realize the remote transmission of spectrum data and GPS positioning and navigation function.
