A 12V12Ah Lead acid front terminal battery consist of a group of plates , positive and negative plates separated by separators which prevent short circuiting an electrolyte, the plastic container which is divided in 6 compartments to made up 12v. Electrolyte is dilute sulphuric acid and specific gravity of 1.280 (when fully charged). The plates play an important role which are made of composite of grid and active material. That is where the electric energy stored.
