Liquid-type PH composite electrode, plastic housing (PC), Q9 plug, low noise shielded wire (800mm), fiber salt bridge, silver-chloride silver reference, 3.0 mol/L potassium chloride external reference solution (containing silver chloride), for routine PH measurement in laboratory.
The measuring end of the electrode is downward, the part of the black electrode cap is pinched, and the part is slightly shaken several times.
The electrode nozzle is kept open and connected with the ph meter to correct the electrode slope in two different standard buffer solutions.(see the acidity meter manual for the calibration process)
Please add 3.0mol/L potassium chloride solution of about 18mm height into the protective sleeve of the electrode, gently pinch the opening of the protective sleeve to make it flat, and install it on the measuring end of the electrode.
Close the nozzle and place the electrode back into the box for storage at room temperature.
When the electrode is immersed in standard buffer or test solution, pinch the electrode and stir it several times or shake the electrode holder to fill the solution around the sensitive glass and salt bridge.
In order to obtain accurate results, all conditions should be consistent in the calibration and measurement of electrodes.
The liquid level of the external reference liquid of the electrode should be kept at 10mm under the liquid adding hole, and should not be lower than the surface of the tested sample.
Always keep electrode plug clean and dry.
Do not soak the electrode in the solution for a long time
After the electrode is used, please clean the electrode carefully.
The parts of the product contact samples are PC (polycarbonate) shell, glass components and silicon rubber materials. Please confirm that your sample solution does no harm to the above materials before measuring the samples.
Please keep the electrode number intact (white cable sleeve). Do not replace the electrode plug without permission, otherwise you will not be able to enjoy the after-sale service of the product.
