Instruction manual:

2. When using the lamp, first put lamp on the table, then reversing rotary switches, from left to right gradually rotation, the lamp gradually light up the brightest, the rotary switch to the left, led the lights dimmed gradually until extinguished.
3. When the led bulb is dark during usage, that means battery is at the stage of discharging. At this moment, in order to protect the battery, please stop using, and charge it in time (Please charge before the led bulb is dark fully, otherwise it would damage the battery).
