In order saving the power supply lifetime, the load power should at 80% of the rated power, such as when you use the 500W item, the load power should at 500W*80%=400W.
For the max output voltage, if you order 0-48V 12.5A, when you set the output voltage at 24V, the max output still is 12.5A.
