Futuristic sense of home with deliberate hospitality was the design criteria set by the client for this 180sm apartment, yet the designer didn't resort to the context of science fictions. On the contrary, profound purity and moral integrity represented in the art and laborious craftsmanship of legendary Chinese white jade were borrowed as the theme of this pure interior. This approach allows the design elevated to state of art in its timeless style, appears as if one shares the spiritual legacy the art of Chinese white jade has for thousands of year. As it is highly expected commitment and sense of style in the art of white jade, high caliber of aesthetic sense is required to articulate the spectacular key features that constituting the theme. Light troughs with diligent details mimicking artisan's crafting marks on a precious jade, drawing out ethereal intensity, sewing the floor through elevations to the ceiling so on and so forth like chant of a poem. As literal and technical gentility revealed in the quality of jade artisans, the spiritually empowered white tone with its progressively evolving forms throughout the living area fosters a unique standard of nobility. On top of the spiritually timeless phenomenon established in the living area, the scholarly implemented master bedroom with its connected working zone plays an extension of spiritual clarity with its retreated atmosphere emphasizing subtlety of Japanese tea house. The two were intentionally differentiated in style while spiritually consistent for the host's different extents of mood.
