The air to water heat pump 60hz 220v can be supplied maximum 60 deg c hot water as the 50hz heat pump do, It heat up the cold water inside a stand-alone storange tank and the water that circulate through the heat pump to reach desire set point temp, and then store the hot water for later use.
When temp reach desire temp, The residential heat pump water heater will stop heating, until water tank temp drop to desire temp -5 deg c.
(e.g your desir set point temp is 55 degc, then 55-5=50 deg c, in other words, heat pump will re-start for heating when tank temp drop to 50 deg c)
Working principle is same as 50hz, the big difference is the 60hz could use difference power supply, thus need compressor to be 60hz, fan motor , water pump all electrical parts to be suitable for 60hz.
