Comparison and analysis of Ground source heat pump and air to water heat pump technology

Ground source heat pump (GSHP)

Ground source heat pump (GSHP) central air-conditioning system is a heating and air-conditioning system consisting of water source heat pump unit, geothermal energy exchange system and building system, with geotechnical, groundwater or surface water as low temperature heat source. Under the irradiation of the sun, the earth becomes a giant "storage" of solar energy. A large amount of clean renewable energy is stored in the shallow water and rock and soil of the crust, which is called shallow geothermal energy.

In winter, heat pump units absorb heat from the ground source (shallow water or rock and soil) to heat buildings; in summer, heat pump units absorb heat from indoor and transfer it to the ground source to achieve building air conditioning and refrigeration. According to the different forms of geothermal exchange system, ground source heat pump system is divided into groundwater ground source heat pump system and surface water ground source heat pump system and buried pipe ground source heat pump system. Ground source heat pump (GSHP) includes groundwater pumping, buried pipe pumping, lake or river water pumping. The cost of water pumping is the lowest, and the buried pipe method is the most expensive, but the best.

As long as there are enough ground pipelines (underground heat and cold exchange device) or the government allows to extract groundwater, the priority should be given to the selection of ground source heat pump central air conditioning. Ground source heat pump (GSHP) central air conditioning is so energy-saving that the technology of GSHP relies on underground energy. As for solar energy, the phrase "we have oil at our feet" is very good and image. But the air energy water heater also has some unique advantages that other products can not match.
