1、Development status of domestic rubber industry
Since the reform and opening up, rubber industry of China's has developed rapidly, and has formed a relatively complete industry consisting of tires, hoses, belts, latex, seals, shock absorption and isolation, building waterproofing, medical and health care, daily rubber, electronic rubber, oilfield rubber and other products, with a total of 18 categories and more than 50,000 varieties and specifications. At the same time, a complete set of industries such as synthetic rubber and natural rubber, steel wire and fibre fabrics, auxiliaries and accessories, rubber machinery and moulds have been formed.In 1997, rubber industry accounted for about 1/5 of the total industrial output value and 1/4 of profits and taxes. It has become an important industry in China's national economy that can not be ignored.
2.Development Trend of Domestic Rubber Industry
According to the third national industrial enterprise census in 1995, there are more than 4600 rubber enterprises in China, but up to now, there are less than 100 rubber enterprises with sales of more than 100 million yuan and annual sales of more than 1 billion yuan. Rubber enterprises are all over the world, forming production bases such as Shanghai, Qingdao, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Shenyang, Beijing, Chongqing, Guiyang, Guilin, Birch and Jiaozuo.

Plastic production is a process of changing the elastic state of raw rubber from strong and tough to soft and easy to process by mechanical stress, heat, oxygen or adding some chemicals. The purpose of raw rubber plasticization is to reduce its elasticity, increase plasticity and obtain appropriate fluidity to meet the requirements of various processing processes such as mixing, sub-derivatization, extrusion, moulding, vulcanization, slurry manufacturing and sponge rubber manufacturing. Proper plasticity is very important for the processing and quality of rubber products.
