Question 3: When the ambient temp drop to 0 deg c or lower than 0 deg c, the heating efficiency will be worse and waste much more electricity, why we not use electricity heating?

Answer: The working efficiency of air source heat pump is closely related to the ambient temp, which is determined by the working principle of air source heat pump. However, when the outdoor ambient temp is low to a certain value, the heating efficiency of air source heat pump begins to decline significantly, and this value is not the same of different types of products.

Ordinary air source heat pump heating units generally have obvious attenuation of heating performance when the ambient temp is lower than 0 deg c, and even can not produce heat at a lower temp. But ultra-low temp units can normally produce heat at -25 deg c by using the enthalpy-increasing technology, and the energy efficiency is relatively high.

Question 4: The maximum outlet temp of air source heat pump is less than 50 deg c. When it comes to low ambient temp, it will be lower. It can only bring ground heating, but not heating fins. It is not feasible to develop in the north area.

Answer: The effluent temp of air source heat pump heating unit is closedly related to refrigerant and related technology. In general, the outlet temp of R22 refrigerant can reach 55 deg c, while that of R410a refrigerant can reach 60 deg . If CO2 refrigerant is used, the temp can reach more than 90 deg c. But the use of CO2 refrigerant for heating is not much, because the water temp is not so high, and the investment cost is relatively high, the comprehensive price ratio is relatively low.

In addition, the use of two-stage compression and cascade technology can also improve the temp of the effluent. In some old-fashioned cast iron heater projects, the water temp requirement are relatively high, some reach 70 deg c or even higher. At this time, ordinary low temp air source heat pump is difficult to meet the requirements. Only low ambient temp heat pump units using two-stage compression or cascade technology can be used.

Therefore, it is wrong to say that air source heat pump can not be heated with radiator. Nowadays, many new types of radiators do not require high water temp at all, and even lower water temp can meet the heating requirements.

Of course, if we want to make the air source heat pump system run more stable and efficient, it is better to use together with ground heating. The lower the water temp requirement, the higher the comprehensive energy efficiency of the heat pump, and it is also good for prolonging the working life of the unit.
