1.Extend battery life. A good solar led street light controller usually has high-precision temperature compensation and adopts intelligent power algorithm to achieve smarter lighting strategy and longer lighting time, which also ensure the battery works in best condition and greatly prolong the service life of whole solar lighting system.
2.Voltage raising. The solar street lamp controller can automatically adjust output voltage. If the battery voltage does not reach 36V, required voltage for normal lighting, the controller will raise the output voltage to achieve lighting requirement. This function must be realized by street solar light controller.
3.Voltage regulation. When the solar energy is irradiated to solar panel, the street lamp solar panel will charge battery in an unstable voltage. The controller will regulate the voltage to protect battery.
4.Ensure constant current output. The LED needs constant current or current limiting by technical means to perform normal work. Usually LED lights are powered by an external driver, but for outdoor solar led light, a good controller is all what you need.
5.Time control function. A single night can be split into three periods. Each section lasts for several hours, which generally is 3 hours + 3 hours + 2 hours, a total of 8 hours. Of course, you can also set it to only light up for 6 hours.
