On the weekend, we made a loading cabinet for keyrings, it is a client from US, we work with him for many years.
We got the order on June 12, 2019, it was 200k keyrings. There were some keyrings with bottle bottle opener function, some are zinc alloy keyrings and some is leather keychain; the metal part was different with leather part, the production department were different too. They all need to cooperate at a higher degree and work closely together.
After the order was made, we had a meeting how to make it fast and good, the production manager made a clear plan for this order, and other production departments as die-casting department, gong drill department, polishing department, plating department, leather department, assembling department, all put 100-point spirit on this order. They worked one step by step, quickly and orderly. Finally, we finished the order on August 5. 2019. Does that finish the goods then we can ship it? No.
There was a goods inspection, it was arrange on August 7, 2019, it was one day inspection by two quality control persons. The QC came factory on the morning of 8 o'clock, they checked clear for the metal surface: polish, logo, plating, and the looked the shape, tested the function with a bottle of beer. Every step is very careful. They worked from morning to afternoon for two days. Fortunately, the inspected goods full compliance to the AQL 2.5-4. The goods were acceptable and ready to ship after inspection.
The keyrings were ship to US by sea. The salesmen made booking and prepare the document for the shipment. On August 9, 2019, we got the order from shipping forwarder and the goods could be ship out. On August 10, the cabinet car came and pick up the keyrings on the morning. When we finished loading and watched the car go, we all breathed a sigh of relief.
Before loading the goods, the salesmen also need to confirm the bill of lading, invoice and packing list, and prepare documents for customs clearance. These things are very trivial, but they should be done by us. I hope customers can receive the goods as soon as possible.
