What is a heat pump

I. Terminology of heat pump

What is a heat pump?

"Heat pump" is to convert low-level energy into high-level energy that can be used by people. The low energy in nature can come from water, air, soil and so on.

What is air source heat pump?

Air source heat pump is an energy transfer device. It is a device that follows the principle of inverse Carnot cycle and transfers a large amount of heat contained in the air to the space that needs heat by consuming a small part of electric energy.

Heating coefficient of inverse Carnot cycle: ε = TK / (tk-t0)

Air energy heat pump refrigerant (refrigerant):

The working substance that continuously completes the cycle in the refrigeration device. Common refrigerants: ammonia, freon (R22, R134a, R407C, R410A).

Heat production:

The heat transferred from outside to indoor by heat pump in unit time.

COP value:

In fact, it is the ratio of heating capacity and input power realized by the heat pump system. Under the same working condition, the larger the ratio is, the higher the efficiency of the heat pump system is, the more energy-saving it is.

II. Heating principle

Compressor: it is the heart of refrigeration and heating cycle.

1. Positive displacement refrigeration compressor: it compresses the periodic intake quantitative gas by changing the volume of the working chamber.

Commonly used positive displacement compressor: piston type, rolling rotor type, scroll type, single screw type, double screw type.

2. Centrifugal refrigeration compressor: it continuously compresses the gas inhaled by the centrifugal force.

The casing heat exchange is the carrier to transfer part of the heat of the hot fluid to the water supply. The high-efficiency threaded copper tube is selected and coated with the treated galvanized steel tube to realize the process of water in the refrigerant, so that the high-temperature refrigerant gas can fully contact with the water and achieve better heat transfer effect.
