1. How does air source heat pump work? How does it work?
To know the working principle of heat pump heating, first of all, understand the structure of air source heat pump. Air source heat pump is generally composed of four parts, namely, compressor, evaporator, condenser, throttle valve, and its system basically circulates around these parts.
First, the evaporator absorbs heat from the air, and how much heat it can absorb depends on the refrigerant in the evaporator (R22, R410A, etc. are common). After the evaporator absorbs heat, it is compressed into a gas state of high temperature and pressure by the compressor. In this case, the compressor is driven by electric energy, and the temperature of the compressed gas is related to the compressor.
After the high temperature and high pressure gas comes out of the compressor, it exchanges heat through the condenser and transfers the heat to the medium (if the medium is water, it is the water system as we call it, which is now common for heat pump heating; there is also a wind system, which includes anhydrous floor heating and hot air blower).
After heat exchange, the gas passes through the throttle valve and other throttling devices, and then becomes a low temperature and low pressure state again, and then passes through the evaporator, forming a complete closed-loop system, which circulates and circulates continuously.
From the principle of air source heat pump, it can be seen that the whole system only consumes electric energy when the compressor works, and the heat mainly comes from the air, so the energy efficiency ratio of the heat pump is much higher than that of the electric heating equipment directly heated by electricity.
2. In some places, the lowest temperature is below - 35 ℃. Is there any heat in the air at such a low temperature? Is the heat pump still working?
Here is the evaporation temperature of the lower refrigerant. In order to absorb heat from the air source, the internal temperature of the evaporator must be lower than the outdoor temperature, because the heat is transmitted from high temperature to low temperature, so the lower the evaporation temperature, the lower the working condition.
Compressor is also the core component to determine the working range of low-temperature heat pump heating products, because in order to ensure the normal operation of heat pump products in a lower environment, it is necessary to solve the problems such as insufficient heating caused by too large compression ratio and high exhaust temperature.
In recent years, with the popularity of heat pump special compressors equipped with air-jet (or liquid injection) enthalpy increasing technology and frequency conversion technology, the application of air source heat pump heating in cold areas and most severe cold areas has been no problem for a long time.
