1. Ensure stability of charge and discharge. As we all know, The number of battery cycling times is limited. In the process of charging and discharging, the voltage should not be extremely too high or too low.
2. Avoid overcharging. The battery should be used in strict accordance with the manufacturer's instructions to prevent overcharging. If the lithium battery is overcharged, the internal temperature of the battery will rise step by step, which may cause the phenomenon of thermal runaway, or even worse the battery will be discarded.
3. Avoid over-discharging. The depth of battery discharge is closely related to the number of cycles ( lifetime ) of the battery design. If the depth of discharge is 10 %, the number of cycles is 10,000. When the depth of discharge is 70 %, the number of cycles will be reduced to only 500 times. Serious over-discharge may cause the battery no longer be activated to the best condition.
4. Maintain the appropriate operating temperature of the battery. Any variation from this operating temperature can alter the battery’s performance and shorten its expected life.
