HRS Corporation announced that it has signed a partnership agreement with Amphenol Corporation (hereinafter referred to as Amphenol) for the development of ix Industrial ™ connectors. ix Industrial ™ is suitable for the environment of industrial equipment, conforms to the IEC 61076-3-124 standard, and meets the high-speed transmission characteristics of Cat.6A, so it is a connector solution that is very helpful to realize the intelligent upgrade of the manufacturing industry.
Working with technical proficient connector manufacturers to prepare for growing demand for Industry 4.0 Ethernet connectivity
ix Industrial ™ was jointly launched by HRS and technology partner German HARTING Technology Group (hereinafter: HARTING) in 2017. It is widely used in various industrial equipment such as industrial automation, robotics, machine vision, etc. The design and ruggedness are favored by many industrial equipment manufacturers at home and abroad as Ethernet connection solutions and well received by the industry.
Recognized as a GigE Vision® standard connector in machine vision. This standard was developed by AIA (Automated Image AssociaTIon) and is widely used as a global standard for external interfaces of Ethernet (IEEE 802.3) communication.
Fluke Network of the United States provides ix Industrial special test adapter. Cable manufacturers and cable installers need to use adapters to verify that LAN cables comply with Ethernet signal transmission standards.
ix Industrial ™ has been widely used in the industrial market. In the next step, we hope to further popularize it into other applications through the channel network of Amphenol. As a standard interface for industrial Ethernet, it can be used by more industries in the future.
Design-in system in cooperation with technology partners
In addition to achieving compatibility with HARTING in the future, this product series will also be compatible with Amphenol. We hope to build a global cooperation system with other connector suppliers with technical strength to meet the more extensive requirements of the new small standard Ethernet connector required by Industry 4.0 in the future.
