How to dehydrate mussel

Ingredients: mussel


Directions:

1. Washing the mussels clean the sediment out of the mussels.

2. Put them into the 100 degree boiling water to boil 5 mins , let the mussels open.

3. When all of the mussels opening, we need to take the shell of , just leave the mussels.

4. Lay them on the trays evenly and don’t overlap.

5. Put the mussels into the IKE dehydrator and set the target temperature at 55 degree to dry 2 hours.

6. After 2 hours , set the temperature at 65 degree to drying 6-8 hours.

7. After total 10 hours , the mussels will finish drying.

The dried mussel will regain moisture when they are in direct contact with the air, so a sealed package is required. If you use vacuum packaging, you can better preserve it.
