The Chinese spunlacer and converter Nox-bellcow (NBC) says it places its trust in the Lenzing Tencel brand for sensitive applications in direct skin contact. The launch of co-branded facial masks made of 100% Tencel Skin allows consumers in China to make an informed decision on sustainable beauty products.
NBC is a top listed manufacturer of skin care products in China and a key player in the area of facial masks and wipes. The company successfully works for global players as ODM manufacturer.
“We launched Tencel Skin at ANEX held in Korea in June 2012 and are very pleased to see that the botanic fiber Tencel now serves NBC as the raw material of choice for nonwoven fabrics for facial masks," says Elisabeth Stanger, marketing director business unit nonwoven fiber, Lenzing.
“In Asia, the use of facial masks is part of daily routine and consumers are critical and very demanding in terms of quality," says Frankie Fan, vice president, NBC. "Tencel Skin from Lenzing turned out to be the ideal fiber for an optimal facial mask.”
Combining enhanced lotion management and translucency with environmental responsibility, Tencel Skin meets the requirements of balanced skin care products.
“Lenzing is happy and proud to announce the cooperation with NBC. Asia is one of our core markets and with NBC we have found a strong strategic partner for further developments in the field of skin care products”, says Wolfgang Plasser, vice president and general manager business unit nonwoven fibers, Lenzing. “As consumers are more and more looking for sustainable products with a positive impact on future generations, our fibers made of the renewable resource wood are ideally suited for cosmetic applications. We are continually striving to expand our product portfolio in this direction and close cooperations with our customers are an indispensable part of our innovation work."
