2、Foreign traders are good at English


First of all, you should know that there are only seven countries in the world that take English as their mother tongue, two in Europe, two in North America, one in Africa and two in Australia. It means that compared to other countries, their English level is actually about the same as ours. When many people outside the circle hear someone is doing foreign trade, their first reaction is: wow, your English must be very good. In fact, we traders all know, the vocabulary of foreign trade isn’t so large,  foreign customers you face may not do as well as you in English. If you write complicated or unusual words in emails, the client will probably not understand. Even in countries where English is spoken as a mother tongue, people can speak with a certain degree of accent. However, what we learn in school is basically the proper London accent or American accent. Of course, if you are good at English, it is not completely useless.



3、As long as English is good, you can be a foreign trader


A lot of people think they can do business with foreigners as long as their English is good. In fact, no matter for doing domestic trade or foreign trade, sales  is the essence. And it relies on your profession on product and market while language is just a tool.



4、Foreign trade can be done well if getting along well with foreigners


Sales is to deal with people, many people think, as long as the relationship with foreigners is good, but it is not. Why do foreigners trust you? Because you speak perfect English? Or is it because your email is so brilliant and so well-written? Clearly not. In addition to your understanding of the product and the market, it is more about your ability to control the factory and communicate with suppliers. Without the support of factories and suppliers, what value would you have in the eyes of customers? The start of sales is like mixing the muddle, the link between the customer and the factory supplier, which leads to the cooperation between the two sides. In the final analysis, to be a salesman is to be a man. Being a man is a very deep knowledge, which can be learned in a lifetime.



5、Doing foreign trade can make much money in a short time


People at the top of the pyramid in all industries in the world must suffer a lot before they succeed. So, doing foreign trade takes time to accumulate as well. Everyone wants to make a lot of money from customers. However,  these customers are cultivated slowly, or attracted by their strength, worthy of big customer orders. It takes time to cultivate customers, and it also takes time to accumulate one's own strength. Therefore, only by settling down and doing it slowly can one earn a lot of money. No matter who you are, if you want to make a career, before you become a veteran, it always takes time; even if in more than a decade ago, foreign trade was exceptionally good, many manufacturer collapsed and salesmen failed to get orders. So don't whine about what the problem of the external environment, it has little to do with you as a novice.

1、Experience doesn't come with time


Too many people say they have years of experience in foreign trade. They think foreign trade is a profession, so they change between industries; they do electron today, tomorrow do garment, the day after tomorrow do furniture. Anyway, they think they have been working in the foreign trade, which do not call changed industries. As the old saying goes, a rolling stone gathers no moss and someone who always shift in all kinds of industries will fail to make money.



2、SOHO is not so easy to do

If you want to make a difference and succeed, then start a business. SOHO is the mode with the lowest start-up cost. But the world is fair, and the one you lack must be balanced by the other. For instance, SOHO, you chose low cost to start a business, corresponding, the time that you pay and energy will be much, individual ability also need to be strong, otherwise, how will those who spend money to start a business feel?



3、No factory owner is stupid

Don't always laugh at your boss for being corny, stupid and stingy. Anyone who has ever worked in a factory can find that a small assembly line, more than a dozen workers and a factory of hundreds of square meters costs at least 200,000 yuan per month. If you are strong enough, why can't you do it? When you reach your boss's age, can you achieve what he did?

6、Be alert to temptation and keep your head clear

There is no real sense of profiteering industry in this world. Even if there is, it is not your turn to do, because you are not born in the house of officer or the rich. When you hear that an industry is very profitable, do not plunge into it. Otherwise, you will die very miserably, because even you, the layman knows this industry is profitable, then how crowded will this industry be? It is definitely a shuffle.



7、Face your heart

Ask yourself the reason why you do foreign trade and do sales. Do you like English or communicating with foreigners? My sole purpose in foreign trade is to earn enough money to get rid of the fixed class and let the next generation enter a higher class. We are neither the second generation of officers nor the second generation of rich people. We do not like social intercourse, so only by doing foreign trade sales can we satisfy our income and not compromise ourselves. We are all ordinary people, so we can only change ourselves to adapt to the society. So don't always say, "this is just my personality." your personality will hurt you.
