Professor Guanxun Gao from University of British Columbia Visited Lepton
In the forenoon on Jan.16, 2018, Professor Guanxun Gao of University of British Columbia (UBC) visited Lepton. Profess Gao is the academician of the International Textile Institute and International Institute of Advanced Materials and Technology.Lepton’s managers introduced our research general situation of electrospinning technology to the four people of Professor Gao’s team, accompanied them on a visit to the R & D lab, all series of the equipment product line and showroom. They were very appreciated to Lepton’s electrospinning technology, biological 3D printing technology and products, and expressed strong cooperation intention in product development and training. We believed that we would have cooperation in electrospinning nanomaterials area in the near future and fight for it together.
Introduction of Professor Guanxun Gao’s Team
University of British Columbia (UBC) is one of the top 30 universities all over the world. Its advanced fiber material engineering research team devoted to the industrialized application of the AFML advanced technology in energy, environment protection and health area. Professor Guanxun Gao is its chief research professor as well as the academician of the International Textile Institute and International Institute of Advanced Materials and Technology. Professor Gao has published more than 450 articles of engineering design and fiber structure analysis in the area of medical, industry, advanced composite materials. Besides, he is one of the initiator of the SAMPE fellow、TEXCOMP conference, the editorial board member of the JEFA（Journal of Engineered Fibers and Fabrics ）, the former president of the American Composites Manufacturers Association, the professor of the Material Engineering School of the Drexel University, the director of the Fiber Materials Research Center and the counselor of the industry and other relative organization of the American government.
