Smoke causes and elimination methods
1.Black smoke
Cause: indicates that some diesel atomized particles in the cylinder are discharged without combustion.There are three reasons: one is the excessive oil supply, diesel engine overload operation;Second, low fuel injection pressure and poor diesel atomization;Third, the fuel supply is too late, the engine temperature is low.Elimination method: For the diesel engine with excessive oil supply, reduce the oil supply properly and control the operation within the normal load;For diesel engines with low fuel injection pressure, repair or replace the fuel injector in time to improve the fuel injection pressure;The advance Angle of oil supply should be adjusted for late diesel engine.During adjustment, first unscrew the two screws fixed on the timing gear and move the keyboard clockwise so that the advance Angle of oil supply is 16-19 degrees and the relative amplitude is 22.5-28.5mm. Meanwhile, the temperature of the engine is maintained at 80-90℃.
2. White smoke
Cause: Indicates that the atomized diesel injected into the cylinder fails to burn completely and is discharged.There are three main causes: first, the nozzle stuck, insufficient pressure, poor diesel atomization;Secondly, there is much air in the oil road and water in diesel oil.The third reason is the same as the black smoke, the oil supply too late.Elimination method: check the nozzle, and adjust or replace the nozzle;Check the fuel line to remove air from the fuel line and use standard diesel oil;Adjust the advance Angle of oil supply in the same way as when smoking black smoke.
3.Blue smoke
Cause: Indicates the engine is burning oil.There are three main reasons for this: first, the piston ring goes the right way, the oil enters the cylinder;Second, the oil level of the oil pan of the air filter exceeds the height of the ring groove;Third, the gap between the catheter and the valve rod is too large.Elimination method: adjust the piston ring, so that the ring openings stagger 120 degrees or 180 degrees, ring openings should avoid the direction of the piston pin hole and side pressure;Adjust the oil level of the oil pan of the air filter to lower it below the height of the ring groove;If the gap between the catheter and the valve rod is too large, the part should be replaced to reduce the gap. The normal clearance between the two should be 0.05-0.12 mm.
