Telkom Indonesia and SingTel Appoint Senior Management of Their Indonesian Joint Venture Subsidiary

Telkom Indonesia, Indonesia's state-owned telecom operator, and SingTel, Singapore's telecom operator, have appointed Setyanto Hantoro as president of their mobile subsidiary Telkomsel. In addition, venusia papasi has been appointed Telkomsel's network director. Telkom Indonesia owns 65% of Telkomsel, while SingTel owns the remaining 35% of the Indonesian mobile operator. Hantoro previously served as CEO of Telkom Metra and acting CEO of MDI ventures, Telkom Indonesia's corporate venture capital division. Prior to his appointment as Telkomsel's network director, Papasi was Telkomsel's vice president of network operations.
