Telstra announced that it would shorten the payment period for suppliers whose annual invoice amount does not exceed $2 million to ensure payment for their suppliers within 20 days. The company has also extended this approach to charities, indigenous organizations and disabled businesses. Telstra said that by the end of the financial year, more than 85% of its suppliers will receive payment from Telstra within 20 days after receiving the invoice.
