Goodman Manufacturing owns and distributes Amana. But, they also distribute their own heat pumps under their brand name, Goodman. They offer the same technology (and the same internal components) at a fraction of the price.
2. Day & Night Heat Pumps
Next on our list of the best heat pump brands is Day & Night. Who? Yea, you may not have heard of Day & Night Heat Pumps, but they are owned by United Technologies (UT). Who? I know...we’ll get there. UT is the parent company of a few brands you might have heard of, including, but not limited to: Carrier, Bryant, and Heil.
Their products are reliable and sturdy, and again, they use the same internal components as their top-shelf big brothers, including Aspen Coils. Therefore, they ranked second on our list of the best heat pump brands.
3. American Standard Heat Pumps
If you haven’t heard of American Standard, then that’s ok. Go to a public restroom and use the toilet. That toilet has a 46% chance of being manufactured by American Standard, or one of their subsidiaries (not really...actually I just made that percentage statistic up because it sounded better.
American Standard Heat Pumps are next on our list of the top ten heat pump brands, and for good reason! Although they are a bit on the pricey side, we’ve found their heat pumps to be top-notch, and while they are one of the few name brands you might recognize (they make heat pumps, toilets, faucets and a bunch of other things, they also provide a terrific value to the consumer. As such, they came in third on our list of the best heat pump brands this year.
