This sleek and stylish optical boutique was created to feel like a modern and urban museum-like setting. The collections are showcased through custom fixtures such as the wall-to-ceiling waterfall displays, crystal-like accessory cases, mirrored white and gold floor-to-ceiling eyewear fixtures, and integrated media and mirror displays – which all combine to encourage and enable customer engagement with the eyewear collections. Enhancing the overall experience are complimenting finishes in contrasting brushed gold accents, white powder-coated metals, opulent black textured wall, starfire glass, mirrored gold and herringbone blush-coloured flooring.

At the back of the shop is a waiting area for the in-house Optometrist. The area features a rich and textured black wall, brushed gold accessories niche, and a plush leather custom bench. As customers wait for their appointments they can charge their mobile devices, sip coffee, or simply continue their shopping experience on the iPads provided, with direct access to Holly Eyewear’s online store.

The optical shop design also includes an Optician adjustment desk, where the Optician meets with customers to the eyewear purchased. A monolithic and user-friendly cash desk of brushed gold, white powder-coated finishes and solid surface provides ample counter space for customers to rest their handbags securely while their purchase is being carefully wrapped. With a mixture of carefully curated finishes and design details, Holly Eyewear is a luxurious urban and modern environment for the chic and stylish woman.

The combination of black and white display furniture as above optical shop often creates a modern shop atmosphere. If wood veneer material is used, the whole shop image will be changed, look elegant and classic.

“Thomas Optician” is the result of the transformation of a former, old book store of the 5th district in Paris in an optical shop. Designer of this shop wanted to represent the structure of the old library, so typical of this university district, covering the walls of the store with a long straight wooden structure, such as a library, which hosts the shelves on which the glasses are placed, as books. People are invited to walk around and try the glasses themselves.

The various elements of the store aim to set a dialogue between the materials characterizing the glasses and the former book store: glass, metal and wood, in a contemporary re-interpretation of the classical parisian moldings.
