Amalgam lamp, that is, amalgam sterilizing lamp. Most of the ultraviolet sterilizing lamps are water treatment bactericidal lamps. Because of the high power and long life of mercury homogeneous lamps, the energy consumption and maintenance cycle are greatly shortened, so it has become an economic choice to replace medium pressure mercury lamps. They can save energy and produce very little heat. The UV output power is 3 ≤ 10 times higher than that of the general low pressure mercury lamp, and the applicable ambient temperature can be as high as 90 °C.
1. Durable coating
Compared with the traditional UV lamp, the unique coating of long life amalgam lamp ensures that they will not lose the transmission of quartz glass, so it will have a continuous and stable bactericidal effect throughout the service life of the lamp. The service life can reach 13000 hours, and the output power of UVC can still reach 85% of the initial UV power.
2.Great potential for cost savings
Because of the high power and long life of this kind of lamp, the energy consumption and maintenance cycle are greatly shortened. Based on the high efficiency, long life and low operating cost of amalgam lamp, amalgam lamp has become an economic alternative to medium voltage lamp. They save energy and produce very little heat.
3. Generation of ozone
When the lamp material is synthetic quartz, VUV radiation emits 185nm spectrum line. By selecting the best combination of quartz material and lamp tube technology, the UV output reaches 5 times as much as the standard low pressure sterilizing lamp at 185nm.
The UV output of amalgam lamp is 3 ≤ 10 times higher than that of general low pressure mercury lamp, and the working temperature can be as high as 90 °C, spectrum: 254nm; synthetic quartz tube amalgam lamp, spectrum: 254nm and 185 nm, resulting in ozone.
4. Wider ambient temperature
Compared with the standard sterilizing lamp, about three times the UV output at the same length has an ultra-long life of more than 13000 hours. A stable high ultraviolet intensity in a wide ambient temperature range (4 °90 °C) uses fewer lamps to reduce the initial installation and operating costs.
