When using a voltage stabilizer, never use a leakage protector at the input of the regulator. This is a major principle used by automatic voltage regulators.
Some users choose the corresponding leakage protector or leakage switch for the voltage stabilizer when using it. The end result is that when the voltage stabilizer is started, the leakage protector is protected, and the voltage stabilizer cannot be used at all. why?
The principle of the leakage protector is that the neutral current is zero. When using a voltage stabilizer, the current in the neutral line cannot be zero.
There are isolation transformer and voltage regulating transformer inside the voltage stabilizer. The transformer is equivalent to the capacitive effect at startup. When the voltage stabilizer is turned on, the instantaneous charging of the transformer and the voltage regulator causes the neutral line to carry current, forming a current loop. If a leakage protector is used at the incoming line, it will act and cut off the input power, causing the regulator to be out of power and unable to be used.
Therefore, customers should not use a leakage protector at the input of the voltage stabilizer. If the customer insists on using it, please use a leakage protector at the output of the voltage stabilizer. To ensure the safe use, the voltage stabilizer must be grounded.
