What is amber light?

The color amber is a pure chroma color, located on the color wheel midway between the colors of yellow and orange. The color name is derived from the material also known as amber, which is commonly found in a range of yellow-orange-brown-red colors; likewise, as a color amber can refer to a range of yellow-orange colors. In English the first recorded use of the term as a color name, rather than a reference to the specific substance, was in 1500.

Why we choose amber light?

Reducing Light Pollution: Most people would like to use White Light in our life, but to compare with amber light, amber hue light that is 99.94% free of blue spectrum light to encourage the production of melatonin in the evening and reduce eye strain. A lack of blue light helps melanopsin receptors in the retina signal to the brain that it is time to secrete melatonin in preparation for sleep.

Safety:Evidence shows it's easier to see under an amber colored light than bright white due to veiling luminance and disability glare, both of which can cause accidents. Amber also has less blue light, which is harmful to both people and wildlife.
