-What is UVC light and How does it work?
Ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) is a disinfection method that uses short-wavelength ultraviolet (UV-C) light to kill or inactivate microorganisms by destroying nucleic acids and disrupting their DNA, leaving them unable to perform vital cellular functions.
-253.7nm can kill bacteria and viruses as well as microorganisms such as cyanobacteria and chlorophyta in water.
-185.0nm can photolyze COD in water and purify water quality.
-How many wavelength ranges for UV lamp and How to differentiate it ?
• 100-170nm (120-8ev): Vacuum UVDI
• 170-200nm (8-5.8ev): Deep Ultraviolet uvc, or ozone uvct.
• 200-280nm (5.8-4 .4ev): UVC, sterilization zone, or photobiochemical zone
• 280-310nm (4.4-3.9ev): UVB, re-sterilization zone, biological effect zone
• 310-400nm (3.9-3.1ev): UVA, biological effect, medical application, curing effect
