Q: Can the 60 Watt version be used in a  normal basement light socket?

A: Absolutely, but don’t forget to leave the light switch on.

A: Sorry, it cannot be dimmable.

Q: What is the Radar and Standard version?

A: Radar is motion sensor. Standard uses a light switch. So you can choose how you would like to turn the light on or off.
