Troubleshooting
1. Pick up everything that goes by even a cat when it walks by.
--Turned the sensitivity to LOW and install the sensor at least 3-4 feet above the ground which will avoid dirt and most dogs /cats /squirrels, etc.
2. Can not nail the mounting base to the same size of a 4x4 post
--Please rotate the angle of mounting plate about 45 degrees, then pin two screws into the upper and lower screw holes,so the sensor can be mounted on the 4x4 post.

--Please keep the distance between receiver and sensor is 1/4 mile, the detection range is 1/2 mile actually.

--Receiver can be plugged in using included AC adapter, can also run on 4 AA batteries as backup in case of power outage, but we recommend plugging in, it can save the battery.

-- Please set each sensor around your property to different channels and you will sound different chimes, so it is easy to tell which of the sensor is triggered.

--Please confirm if the rubber cover on the bottom has fallen off. Because it is used outdoor, we have designed the rubber cover and foot pad outside the sensor,so it is waterproof. If the cover disappeared, please feel free to let us know, a new sensor will be sent to you as the replacement.

--Please kindly install the sensor 3-4 feet off the ground and adjust the angle of the sensor eye about the horizontal angle, towards heat sources such as car engine.
