Ceramic LEDs vs.Aluminum LEDs

Using aluminum, LED chips are molded to PC boards with a thermal adhesive. The PC board and thermal adhesive are necessary as aluminum is conducive to electricity. More pieces mean more heat. Using ceramic, LED chips are mounted directly to the ceramic allowing us to increase our photon density per watt.

Sansi’s advantage is ceramic technology. Ceramic dissipates heat more efficiently than aluminum and is not conducive to electricity. This allows our LED chips to be molded directly to the ceramic making each chip PC board and adhesive free. Fewer pieces mean less heat. All LED chips produce heat. The quality of any LED chip and its fixture is determined by how well the heat is dissipated from the chip(s) and its fixture.

Sansi lights are customized to the spectrum you want. Each color can be dimmed to your growing specification.

The control system consists of the computer, router, the main controller, and the lights.You can control the lamps individually or in group, adjust the overall brightness, adjust the color ratio (change the spectrum).

Using Sansi optics, each module provides an evenly distributed spectrum ensuring each plant receives an equal amount of light.

LED chips are placed directly onto the ceramic body, omitting the need for both PC boards and thermally conductive adhesives. Each LED pixel is its own ceramic heat sink eliminating the need for fans, plates, and housing.
