Specifications

Installation and operation

• Secure the light on a smooth surface which has enough strength, if there is no mounting surface, we can customize special mounting bracket as request.

• Ensure the light mounted on horizontal position by gradienter.

• When installation, please stay away the nearby light source, at the same time, ensure the photocell do not cover by the near object.

• Make sure the power supply can match the rated power of light before connecting.

• Recommend the cable diameter connected with obstruction light and power box bigger than 4mm x2, length less than 20m.

• DC Type, Connect the power cable through L obstruction light body waterproof connector, open the 3 buckles, correctly to connect the power cable +, - and ground wire according the label definition on terminal.

• AC Type, Connect the input power cable L, N and ground wire in power box. Meanwhile, connect the output terminal DC48V± of power box with medium intensity obstruction light “±”, care of the positive and negative polarity. Correctly connect the “Beacon Alarm Input” of power box with alarm cable “COM, NO “of obstruction light.

• After checking wiring is correct before power on. After power on, pushing connect circuit breaker and switch to ON by manual, the light start to work. 

Function operation

• This product with flashing mode manual regulatory and fault alarm function.

• Flashing mode manual regulatory method, operated in power off situation:

Open light body, toggle DIP switches 1-2 to adjust the flash rate, toggle the third DIP switch control the on, off mode.

Fault alarm function:

• Part of obstruction light:

Alarm using passive dry node method,COM is the common terminal.

When lamp normal, COM and NO under close status. When lamp malfunction, COM and NO under open status. If

instead alarm required, COM and NC terminal lead out.

• Part of power box (Limited in AC product):

POWER ALARM:Power alarm terminal,It is under NC state when power works and under off state when power failure.

A Beacon Output:Light head failure alarm terminal:It is under NC state when obstruction light work and under off state when light failure.

Indicator light:

• Obstruction light+power box:

GPS_ERR (obstruction light):  GPS normal indicator, GPS failure, light off.

PHOTO_ERR (obstruction light): Photocell normal indicator, photocell failure if not change more than 18 hrs, light off. Alarm

(obstruction light): LED normal indicator, light off when light occur open circuit damage.

Run(obstruction light + power box): Light running indicator. Night (obstruction light +power box): Night indicator. Power (obstruction light + power box): power indicator.

Alarm3( power box): LED normal indicator, light off when light occur open circuit damage.

Notice

• Ensure the power connection part is correct before using and temperature rise when light working is normal phenomenon.

• It with delay judgment about 15s after photocell change detected and about 10 s delay after alarm detected which as normal phenomenon.

• The cable diameter connected with obstruction light and power box bigger than 4mm x2, length less than 20m. Otherwise, it may occur voltage loss result in obstruction light cannot turn on or intensity insufficient.

• Please do not open any components inside by yourself and do not look light horizontally to protect your eyes while the light working.
