Spectral range effects on plant physiology:

(1) 280 ~ 315nm ––> this Wavelengths of light UV light , directly stifle animals and plants even fungus grow up. 

(2) 315 ~ 400nm ––> this Wavelengths of light far UV light , even won`t hurt plants ,but no direct effect on plant growth, chlorophyll absorbs less, photoperiod effect, stop root elongation. 

(3) 400 ~ 520nm(blue)–> this Wavelengths of light growth plants root and stalk directly , the biggest influence on root plant photosynthesis

(4) 520 ~ 610nm(green)–>Green plant repulsive push, green pigment absorption rate is not high

(5) 610 ~ 720nm(red)–> Plant chlorophyll absorption rate is not high, the wavelength for photosynthesis and plant growth rate have a significant impact.
