Fiberglass duct rod or duct rodders and commonly called python rod by its nature passing through under ground ducts by ups, down negotiating the duct curvature thus very convinient to pull the cables , wires inside the duct , also it can be used to locate the duct block or damage portion identifications . its has high safety aspects to use underground applicartions because of its non conductivity of electricity, sets a major safety to site workers .
It has been built with rigid sturdy steel tubular fabrication for easy usage at site and can be self coiled in the tubular frame and easily roll like trolley on ground by its wheels fitted at bottom .
The ducts rodders normmaly comes in various diameters from 4.5 mm to 16 mm as per ground applications. normally 10 mm dia FRP rodders used for pulling, cleaning and locating blocks in Fiber optic Cable network applications .

Operating instruction Guides
1.Unlock the duct rodder hand brake and check that the drawing head is tight. Pull the fiberglass rod from the frame through the guide roller.
2.Feed the rod manually into the duct through to the far end of the duct. Use the brake handle as required to prevent rotation of the cage.
3.Insert cable into pull-grip accessory which connect with the drawing head on duct rodder. Attach the end of the rod to the utility being installed and pull back manually. The rod will recoil itself back into the cage.
Safety
1.As the fiberglass rod have a high strength, please never bend the fiberglass rod around a corner with a radius less than the Minimum Bend Radius.
2.A large amount of energy is stored in the coiled fiberglass rod, Always maintain control over the free end of the rod when the bake is not applied.
3.Be prepared for the unexpected. Use recognized safely practices and wear recognized safety equipment.
