This work present a design, build a wet and dry self cleaning system to the street light solar panel. It is simple, lightweight, slight to maintain, portable, withstand the environment; low-cost, long life, takes its power from the battery of the solar panel, and controlled automatically, by a remote control or a timer. The experimental model is based on a DC motor intelligently controls by a dedicated drive unit that move a cleaning head on the panel upwards and downwards with without using, spraying system. The performance and characteristics of the self cleaning system is experimentally analyzed.

Alpha series all in one solar street light is integrated automatic cleaning solar panel and IOT LORA  wireless monitoring system. However, dust particles, deposits or fallen leaves left by birds will inevitably accumulate on the surface of the photovoltaic PV panel. These deposits will block the light shining on the panel, thereby blocking part of the solar radiation. These coverings block the sunlight, which greatly affects the efficiency of the solar cell, thereby shortening the life of its storage power source, leading to permanent or long-term failures, especially in relatively dry and dusty areas. Solar panels may attach deposits more easily. Automatic cleaning technology can automatically and continuously remove dust. The surface of solar panels, especially those using semiconductor photoelectric sensors, must be kept clean for efficient operation; the cost of cleaning needs to be considered in the overall results of the economic benefits of solar panels.
